Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Payer Enrollment Specialist:

  • Accurately complete and review provider applications, reaching out to providers for necessary information, and contacting government agencies and managed care organizations to check the status and address any discrepancies. Follow up with physicians to assist in finalizing applications.
  • Ensure all re-appointments and re-credentialing are submitted on time, verify that all licenses are up to date, and maintain internal records, including copies of current credentials.
  • Leverage your experience in payer enrollment within a health system/hospital setting
  • Utilize your strong CAQH knowledge and Excel skills


Required Skills for Payer Enrollment Specialist:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Payer enrollment in a health system/hospital setting
  • Strong CAQH knowledge
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Cactus/Symplr
  • Attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
