Job Description Summary
For a research study, we are recruiting a peer navigator. The peer navigator will provide support to participants as they are engaged in the treatments provided by the research and for those assigned to the control group, will guide and accompany patients to needed community programs. The peer navigators will have completed the certification program currently operated by the City of Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health. This Certification will ensure that the peer navigator will have knowledge all of the treatment programs available in the city. The Peer navigator will have extensive knowledge of the substance use and HIV treatment system in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. The incumbent will assist participants in obtaining health insurance when needed and provide linkages to other services available in the community.

Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED Required, with 1-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
