About the Role:
As our Print & Lamination Department Manager, you'll lead our manufacturing processes, overseeing rotogravure and flexographic printing, lamination, and supporting areas. Your focus will be on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a high-performing team across all shifts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
Process Optimization: Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and visual management systems.
Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of printing and lamination processes to troubleshoot issues and optimize equipment.
Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing or packaging.
Strong technical knowledge of rotogravure and flexographic printing processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate machinery.
