Onsite Position: Procurement Specialist (Vendor and Client Relations)

Our client located in the Ft Lauderdale area is looking for an onsite dynamic Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring seamless collaboration between vendors and clients. This role combines procurement expertise with a client-centric approach, acting as the primary liaison to ensure vendor selection aligns with client expectations while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor and Client Coordination:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring their offerings meet operational and client standards.
- Serve as the point of contact between clients and vendors, securing approvals and negotiating favorable terms.
- Address client procurement requests by presenting tailored vendor options and managing the approval process.
- Keep clients informed throughout the vendor selection process, ensuring clarity and alignment with their needs.
- Present quotes transparently reflecting markups that meet company goals while maintaining trust.
- Customize procurement strategies to address specific client needs, enhancing satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Source and manage quotes from vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Prepare client-facing proposals with clear, structured pricing, achieving target profit margins.
- Utilize internal systems like SAGE 50 to track procurement activities, approvals, and progress.
- Oversee the procurement cycle from vendor identification to final client approval, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments to address vendor performance or client-specific needs promptly.
Qualifications:Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years in procurement or a related technical role, with a strong focus on client interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor and client relationships to achieve strategic outcomes.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
