Product Designer

Our client, a leading retailer in the US, is seeking a Product Designer to join their team for a remote, 6-month contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a large team environment and is passionate about creating clean, focused, and understandable product design solutions.

As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Ecommerce, IT, Brand, Marketing, and third-party partners. You will leverage your extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principles, to create unique, own design elements and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present design ideas in a team environment
- Translate complex issues into clean, focused, understandable solutions
- Perform multiple tasks independently under minimal supervision
- Perform quality assurance testing on existing and new features

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of product design/UI experience
- Experience with web and app (IOS & Android) design
- Intermediate to advanced level skill with Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, or similar
- Previous experience working in an e-commerce or retail environment strongly preferred

The ideal candidate will have a strong online design portfolio, a great eye for detail, and demonstrate creative and innovative problem-solving abilities. They will have a solid understanding of user experience and interaction design across all digital platforms. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential, as is enthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
