RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA seeking a Product Designer. Responsibilities:
  • As a Product Designer, you will work with fellow designers, research, product, and engineering teams to define and create relevant, intuitive, and beautiful experiences that our customers love
  • Conceptualize and design original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design issues
  • Solving hard problems, driving complex design issues across multidisciplinary groups such as engineering, product management, research and marketing; and shipping relevant experiences within deadlines
  • The Product Designer will take a user-centric approach to design and an understanding of how to apply research insights into design and development of product experiences


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field and 3+ years of experience working in product or service design, or equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems)
  • A portfolio demonstrating interaction, and visual design and prototyping skills
  • Proficient in all aspects and levels of interaction/UX design from information architecture to systems and workflows to micro-interactions
  • Experience in data driven decision-making
  • You are a conceptual thinker as well as a craftsperson; Your design work is clean, focused, and inspiring to others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field and 3+ years of experience working in product, or service design, or
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, related field and 5+ years of experience working in product, or service design, or equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems)
  • 2+ years of experience shipping games or products and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process
  • Ability to generate empathy, using written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
