MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of all lab and quality procedures.
- Organize workflow of lab to increase productivity.
- Manages document control systems.
- Reviews / audits documentation and data for accuracy and GDP. Reports out non-conformances assists in corrective action to reduce or eliminate reoccurrence.
- Investigates holds and determines AQL sampling plan.
- Reviews incoming raw material COAs.
- Creates COAs for finished product and submits to customer.
- Assists in Quality System audits.
- Develop / revise procedures, forms and training aids as needed.
- Train employees on new or revised procedures.
- Coordinates information flow between Quality and other departments which may include preparing reports, distributing information to related parties, editing, formatting and proofreading material.
- Maintains records and data utilizing various automated systems
- Follow and enforce Silgan Safety and Quality Policies.
- Compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable):EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
SKILLS:Required:
- Highly motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision
- Knowledgeable of SPC
- Electronic measuring devices
- Ability to work in a highly cross-functional office environment
- Advanced MS Excel/MS Word knowledge
- Efficient communication of product specific tests and/or procedures via MS Word/Excel, Adobe PDF, etc.
- MS Office knowledge (with emphasis on advanced Excel/Word)
