Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) seeking an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients? Look no further! Mass General Brigham is currently seeking a dedicated RN to join our Radiation Oncology team at our prestigious facility in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional, competent, and compassionate nursing care to Radiation Oncology pediatric and adult patients and their families
Assess patient vital signs and monitor for symptoms of radiation side effects
Administer medications, infusions, and provide patient and caregiver teaching
Manage the recovery of patients post-radiation treatment, especially when anesthesia is involved
Assist in mobilizing patients as needed, including transferring to exam chairs and accommodating patients during procedures
Collaborate with patients and their support systems to meet their individual needs and expectations
Ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, and timely, while also considering the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and their support system
Communicate effectively and coordinate patient care with physicians, advanced practice providers, radiation therapists, and medical assistants
Use clinical computer applications like Mosaiq and Epic to effectively manage and document patient information.

Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required
Previous experience in caring for pediatric and adult patient populations is preferred
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Specialty certification is preferred
Oncology nursing experience is preferred
Proficiency in email and Microsoft applications, including Excel, is required
Experience with health information technology, such as Epic, is required
Phlebotomy skills are required
Basic Life Support Certification is recommended
Experience with clinical applications is recommended
