The ideal candidate for this position is familiar with accounting practices and processes, detail-oriented, proactive and analytical with strong problem-solving, critical thinking and process improvement skills. The Rebate Analyst is responsible for managing and administering contractual rebates, commissions, and any other program requirements to ensure customer compliance with contractual terms. This role includes compiling, verifying, and analyzing the accuracy of internal and external sales data to ensure accurate reporting and payment of rebates incentive to external customers. In addition, they must also be able to work well in a team environment. Essential attributes include excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and an ability to multitask while remaining focused with impending deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reports to support our customers rebate payments, prepare custom customers reports, and perform rebate reconciliations on an as needed basis.
- Manage metrics to extract, analyze, calculate, and prepare data for reporting on Rebate for payouts.
- Evaluates customer contracts and amendments on an ongoing basis to determine the need to update rebate terms used in liability accruals and payment calculations.
- Reviews and analyzes claim rebate reimbursements to ensure contract compliance with aggregator contract.
- Research and respond to rebate related requests and inquiries from internal and external customers in a timely fashion.
- Maintain accuracy and ensure all transactions are completed on time.
- Prepare monthly Rebate deliverables required for month end close
- Provide monthly, quarterly, yearly and upon request Rebate reports to the direct/indirect manager, internal/external team members, executive management, and customers.
- Utilizes database functionality to analyze large data sets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - BS/BA or related degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of business operation or finance experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Outlook, Work, Excel, & Power Point.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to learn and retain technical product information and sales procedures.
- Able to multitask and adjust to changes in workload, assignments, and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a quick learner
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Pluses: - Experience with SAP resource management program
- Knowledge and or experience in wholesale industry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions; pivot table, formula, Query, and Chart
Pay Scale: $30- $33 Per hour + eligible for an annual bonusBenefits - PPO Medical, Dental, Ortho, Vision, Rx, LTD and Life Insurance
