Summary

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Qualifications

REFRIGERATION:

Must have 1 year of experience working with ammonia refrigeration Maintenance OR have 3 months of refrigeration work history within the last 6 months OR Applicant provides proof of enrollment in Ammonia refrigeration Maintenance OR Proof they graduated within the last 6 months (documentation should be uploaded by applicant at the time they apply for the position)

Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Must be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including a respirator.

May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.

May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed.

MUST COMPLETE TOUR

Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.

Environment

You may work extended times in damp and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. (Up to 10 hours)

You will be provided personal protective equipment (PPE).

Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred) Tyson will purchase a pair of boots for you after 30 days on the job or you will be reimbursed up to a specified amount.

Standing or walking up to 100% of the time

May be exposed to the elements or extreme temperatures when working outside.

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for General Maintenance (or Refrigeration) level openings.

Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson's total compensation package.
