Reliability Engineer

Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
SUMMARY:

This role is critical in optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-depth investigations to identify root causes of equipment failures and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain training programs to ensure optimal equipment operation.
• Create standardized repair procedures and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for equipment.
• Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance data, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Initiate reliability projects to address critical equipment issues and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment redesigns for improved reliability.
• Analyze vibration analysis reports and work with experts to assess the health of critical equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operations and maintenance teams.
• Leverage predictive maintenance technologies to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with reliability engineering tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of management of change (MOC) procedures.
• Familiarity with distributed control systems (DCS).
• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
