Position Summary: The Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Nurse Specialist is a Registered Nurse with specialized training who provides multifaceted, evidence-based specialty care incorporating a unique body of knowledge to provide excellence in prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitative nursing care to persons with select disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems. This complex, interdependent specialty encompasses the care of all patient populations across the continuum of care and all settings of care.

Position Requirements: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and 3 years or more of experience in acute care setting within the last 10 years and ability to obtain WOCN Cert within 2 years of hire. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Current Georgia Registered Nursing License (RN) or a qualifying multi-state compact license.

Preferred Requirements:Master's Degree in Nursing. One year or more of experience in Wound, Ostomy, Continence care.
