RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Sales Engineer in Cleaveland, OH. This is a remote role that requires overnight travel within Ohio. We are looking for a candidate with proven industrial or technical sales experience. This position offers a base draw salary and uncapped commission. In this role, you will report to the VP of Sales.Responsibilities:- Sales Engineer will develop a territory and maintain existing accounts
- Analyze a client's needs to identify the best solution so solve the problem
- Present the solution to the client as a value proposition and possess the ability to overcome objections to secure a sale
- As a Sales Engineer, you will develop and maintain a networking and cold/warm calling plan
- Identify and contact new prospects to find/create new opportunities
- Document business development activities through the company supplied CRM
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering degree is a plus, but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial or technical sales
- Strong mechanical and sales aptitude with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to sell to individuals and small groups of influencers: engineers, safety, plant management, operations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
