The focus of this position is to enable our customers' success and satisfaction by providing dedicated onsite and remote assistance on library preparation related inquiries. This position's main territory will be North America, with primary responsibility within the Northeastern region of the United States.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate and conduct NGS library preparation trainings of the Archer product lines at customer sites
Provide remote customer educations on library preparation and data analysis topics via video calls
Investigate and answer post-sales customer inquiries and cases via email and phone calls
Discuss and resolve challenging cases collaboratively with other members of the customer success team
Assist the Sales team in pre-sales conversations, when technical expertise is required
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in the Life Science industry, or academic research environment with hands-on experience with and theoretical knowledge of NGS library preparations and sequencing
At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues and resolving highly technical inquiries and support requests from customers or members of the scientific community
Ability to travel (up to 50-75%) within territory, with occasional international travel.
Candidate must live close to a major travel hub
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prefer candidate to live in NJ, NY, MA, CT, PA or RI.
Master's degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field
Previous experience in a customer support or another customer facing role with demonstrated internal and external relationship-management skills in the genomics industry
Experience working with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
