RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client located in Cranston, RI that is seeking an Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This company offers great people, culture, excellent Health Benefits and PTO. This position is on-site.Responsibilities:- As Senior Accountant, your responsibility will be to manage and oversee the clients' accounts within the business
- Month-end close
- Communicate with other finance departments and processes
- Develop strategies to meet client's goals
- Explore new business growth
- Deliver exceptional service
- Negotiate contracts
- The Senior Accountant will provide guidance and ensure client's needs are being addressed
- Additional duties to be performed as required by leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting, public accounting would be preferred
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principle
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solver
- Communication skills - verbal and written with accuracy
- Leadership skills - to lead and mentor finance teams
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadline
- Proficiency in Accounting software, pivot table, spreadsheets, formulas and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Keep alert to new and changing regulations and industry trends
- Great professionalism and integrity
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
