Senior Accountant
Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate, analyze, and review financial data, comparing actual performance against planned objectives.
• Assist in preparing and supervising quarterly and annual entries and filings.
• Oversee the preparation of accounting records, transaction research, and financial reports.
• Perform routine and recurring accounting functions with accuracy.
• Document accounting procedures and transactions for fiscal management and audit purposes.
• Prepare tax filings and support the completion of annual tax reports and returns.
• Apply company financial policies and procedures consistently.
• Conduct research and data collection for financial transactions and reporting.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, including analysis and review of budget proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, public accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Starting Salary Range $80K - $87K
