Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Desktop/Tech Support professional to join their team in Madison, NJ. This role is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on user support, troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers.
- Configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing equipment and software.
- Set up and maintain network and telecommunication systems.
- Troubleshoot LAN, server, and connectivity issues.
- Utilize a ticketing system, when necessary.
- Re-image computers, perform data migrations and restorations, and conduct remote problem solving as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware components, hardware configurations, and extensive software experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives.
- Ability to provide VIP white-glove service.
- Proficiency in MAC computer skills and Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in an executive environment.
- Availability to work onsite at our client's corporate headquarters between 9 am and 5:30 pm.
