RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an onsite Senior Product Owner to join their team in Roswell, GA.Duties Include:- Senior Product Owner will enable the team to execute frequent, reliable, and continuous release of value-added, system-level software
- Contribute to the product vision and roadmap and translate into user stories that define the expected behavior of the system (e.g., features and non-functional requirements for the team)
- Work with product management, solution architects and other key stakeholders to develop, manage and prioritize the team backlog
- Understand scope of upcoming enablers work that is required to deliver program backlog items
- Maintain an optimal flow of defined user stories in team backlog of approximately two iterations
- Build and reprioritize the team backlog when organizational priorities change to ensure maximum value delivery
- Coordinate team backlog cross-product content dependencies with other Product Owners
- Establish story acceptance criteria and provide examples in ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) supporting test-first agile principle
- As a Senior Product Owner, you will participate in Team Demos and own acceptances of stories
- Participate in Retrospectives as a key team member identifying improvements
- Work with the team to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the quality of the program
- Collaborate with technical architects to understand the functional and non-functional requirements needed to achieve the best quality product without over-engineering
- Understand and communicate the requirements of our systems as we scale and continue to develop
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as Product Owner
- Experience working on large products for external enterprise customers
- Knowledge of Agile development practices (especially Scrum), methodologies and tools; Direct hands on experience with writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- A strong high-level knowledge of common web application architectures
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
