Our legal client located in Boston's Seaport is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant with expertise in High Net Worth Individuals, Private Client Trusts, and Estates. The role involves joining a growing team, reporting to the Director, and providing support to junior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
• 7+ years' experience tax preparation required
• Previous experience working with High Net Worth Individuals, Private Client Trust, fiduciary, charitable, partnership required
• Prior tax accounting experience in a mid-size or larger professional industry work environment is preferred.
• Experience ProSystem-fx and Onesource Trust Tax required

• Advanced knowledge of applicable tax codes and code changes.
• RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares timely filed fiduciary, gift tax, foundation, partnership, and personal tax returns with an emphasis on more complex tax returns and problem resolution.
• Works closely with the Director, and provides back up if they are out and supports the Junior staff as needed. in both a supportive and collaborative process.
• Communicates directly with the clients of the department, and will review the tax preparation work of other Tax accountants.
• Provides expert tax advice to the Director, to the other Tax Accountants, and/or to the clients of the department.
