Service Representative with emphasis as Car Wash Tunnel Support Specialist
Tunnel Support Specialist operates on-site at car washes to perform preventive maintenance and calibration of chemical dispensing systems to optimize wash performance and ensure quality standards. Successful candidates will be customer oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, be mechanically and technically capable, and manage time effectively. Demonstrate the company's core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.
What you'll do:
- Call on car wash sites and make sure chemicals and dispensing systems are properly functioning and stocked.
- Inspect and test chemical application systems and wash equipment for proper function, and troubleshoot any issues found and make repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Ensure customer is adequately trained on proper operation of chemicals and equipment.
- Complete reports regarding on-site inspections and notify site personnel and corporate personnel as needed on issues or corrective actions.
- Manage inventories to ensure customer sites are fully stocked with adequate supplies.
- Interact directly with customers by phone, electronically, or face-to-face.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift +40 LBs repeatedly.
- Ability to climb ladders to heights over 12 feet.
- Ability to be on your feet all day and travel by car and/or plane.
- Ability to work in all sorts of temperatures indoors and outdoors, and in wet locales.
What You Need...
- 2 years' experience working in an industrial servicing role or installation environment
- Ability to work out of town on installations for up to 1-2 weeks at a time Mechanical Aptitude required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong time management skills with an attention to detail.
- Willingness to work overtime which can include evenings and Saturdays.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Computer and networking skills, preferred.
