Shipside Operations Specialist 2

Contract Position

$32.68-$40.85/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resolution of emergent shipside issues to support operations across multiple functions.
• Provide feedback on assessments and assist with implementing strategies and updating tracking and visibility tools.
• Communicate the status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure availability.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in parts, materials, and tools to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and address problems or discrepancies of limited scope using established procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
• Work under general supervision while contributing to the efficient flow of operations.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Previous Boeing experience is required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years of experience in operations analysis.
• 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with systems such as Velocity, REDARS (Engineering Information Delivery), Product Standards Data System (PSDS), and Integration Visualization Tool (IVT).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in project management is a plus
