Job Title: Observability Development Lead Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

As an Observability Development Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Application APM & Tracing Observability Team within the organization. This team is dedicated to delivering innovative, scalable, stable, and secure products that provide deep business insights, operational insights, and predictive analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, MongoDB, Kafka, Angular/React.
• Experience with GitHub, Python, Ansible, and cloud technologies.

Role Expectations:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of observability products using micro-services architecture.
• Work closely with product owners, other engineers, and SRE partners to enhance application health and monitoring adoption.
• Drive automated onboarding and maturity across the bank.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
