Investor Relations is the face of the company to shareholders, institutional investors, financial analysts, and other market makers. The team is responsible for positioning Marsh McLennan as a compelling investment holding and providing management with critical market insights. Strategic relationships with the investment community are developed and nurtured through day-to-day inquiries, quarterly earnings calls, shareholder meetings and special events. This role is a recognized subject matter expert and a senior individual contributor who manages large-scale projects, coaches team members, and solves complex problems.

What can you expect?
- Supports Investor Relations Leadership team and applies advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as equity research knowledge to pull together key IR deliverable results and execute IR strategy
- Designs and executes compelling financial analyses and provides actionable insights to support financial and strategic decision making and investor relations communication strategy
- Prepares compelling presentations to support investor relations communication strategy at industry events, roadshows, investor meetings and with internal constituents - board of directors, functional and practice leadership, broader colleague base, (also for educational purposes)
- Interprets complex financial data and conducts comprehensive advanced analytical work, modeling, valuation, and research - company and sector levels; covers and apprises senior leadership of domestic & international macroeconomic, industry, capital markets, shareholder, activist investor, accounting, regulatory and tax trends.
- Acts independently and covers insurance brokerage, consulting, and P&C insurance sectors for- cycle dynamics, competitive environment; monitors Wall Street expectations and commentary on MMC, competitors and industry.
- Performs advanced comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation.
- Collaborates with IR Leadership and advises when preparing internal and external presentations and meetings for senior management: earnings releases, investor day, industry conferences, panel discussions, all-colleague calls, investor meetings, rating agency reviews and government relations activities.
- Holds regular conversations with investors and analysts to answer questions about the company.
- Contributes to the planning of investor outreach, including meetings and industry conferences.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with functional area leaders and practice leaders throughout MMC.
- Leads activities by partnering with FP&A, Treasury, and other finance functions to achieve critical senior management objectives.
What you need to have:
- 7+ years' work experience with ideally 3 or more years of experience in an equity research, investor relations or related finance role - equity research experience in Insurance is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Self-starter and team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $108,500 to $216,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
