Senior Change Leadership Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Change Leadership Project Manager to join our Finance Services and Solutions team. The candidate will be responsible for driving user adoption of corporate initiatives that deliver significant financial, operational, and customer and employee satisfaction impacts. In addition, you will support the development of tools and plans to effectively link our Change Leadership services with our business strategy.
As the selected candidate, you will develop and manage the change leadership workstream for your projects in accordance with McKesson and external best practices while working collaboratively with the team. In addition, you will support the development of communications, trainings, documentation, and other deliverables as defined by projects as needed for user adoption.
This role is critical to our high-performing team dedicated to driving user adoption. As the Senior Change Leadership Project Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager of Change Leadership and be an integral part of McKesson's ever-evolving business.
Change Leadership
- Demonstrated experience in articulating the case for change, evaluating change readiness, executing stakeholder plans and change leadership activities, managing sustained change, and implementing solutions to deliver value to the business
- Lead cross-functional teams, including business operations and users, through significant change and/or enterprise transformation efforts
- Track record of success measuring and evaluating program effectiveness and/or tracking progress towards behavioral change
Project Execution
- Track record of taking initiative, leading complex projects, working in a fast-paced, complex, matrixed environment, handling multiple, changing priorities with excellent attention to detail / follow-through
- Experience with supporting enterprise or function transformation efforts in a program management and change management capacity
Consultation Skills
- Ability to absorb and process large quantities of disparate information, synthesize quickly and connect dots across workstreams where appropriate
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills - ability to assess needs, collaborate and deliver practical solutions that drive results; an excellent listener that seeks to understand multiple viewpoints; effective at influencing, facilitating, and problem solving
- Ability to tailor communication style to work well with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and trusting relationships across multiple teams and departments and collaborate with business leaders to execute plans
Desired Skills
- Proven track record of results as a Change Manager/Leader (stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change agent network)
- Project Management understanding and financial business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
- Ability to understand and identify the connections between specific projects and the key strategic objectives
- Ability to think through, organize and lead multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Ability to facilitate and communicate effectively in a hybrid environment
Additional Skills
- Experience leading or managing small matrixed teams and experience leading projects across functional boundaries
- Resourceful with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
Degree, certification and experience
- Degree, or equivalent, typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt) and/or Project Management Institute (PMP) certification is a plus
