Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a 100% telecommute opportunity, ideally suited for candidates located in Hawai'i or on the west coast (PT & MT time zones) due to time zone constraints.
As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in the design and delivery of an all-payer claims database, incorporating data from multiple state systems and producing analytic results via dashboards and reports. You will work within a matrixed team of project managers, SME's, developers, and testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement appropriate team structure to complete program implementation
- Maintain positive relationships with the client's executive leadership and various delivery teams
- Manage the JAD process, driving alignment on requirements and functionality
- Solicit, review, analyze, and create business requirements
- Deliver results with efficiency, quality, and customer value
- Engage stakeholders to manage risks and timely resolution of issues
- Ensure in-scope deployments are completed on time and per contract requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing functional and non-functional business requirements
- 5+ years of experience performing and leading requirements gathering and validation
- 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry with claims, provider, or member data
- 2+ years of experience managing project controls including issues, risks, requirements, scope, schedules
- Experience in the healthcare operational services industry
- Understanding of Federal/CMS/State regulations, requirements, and processes
- Willingness and ability to meet with state client and conduct requirements sessions in HST (Hawaii) time zone
