Position Title: Sr. Director - PDx Use Case Solution Library

Location: Ashburn, VA

Your role

Your primary objective is to establish a library of technical use case content based on PlatformDIGITAL® and Pervasive Datacenter Architecture (PDx®). This library will help to solidify the company's position as the data meeting place, helping companies seamlessly integrate cloud, core, and edge technologies to overcome data gravity and drive intelligent digital business transformation. Your work will help shorten sales cycles by organizing customer conversations with cross-functional, market-facing assets of which you will drive the development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a technical content specialist responsible for development and curation of the patented intellectual property in the PDx solution library. You will be a subject matter expert on our solutions portfolio and will work to ensure alignment between our solutions and solution messaging and our product capabilities. You will leverage your extensive industry experience and deep understanding of client needs and behaviors, to develop and document solutions to build out and curate a library of rich content. You will also continually monitor the market for insights, and nurture collaborative relationships with various teams, including product management, solution architects, and marketing. Your specific duties will encompass:

• Sustaining, developing and maintaining technical use case solution content for technical enterprise and provider audiences
• Integrate these use cases into a validated solution lifecycle
• Develop, and curate the PDx taxonomy, ontology and mapping to our intelligence systems
• Collaborating with Solution Architects, Sales Engineers, and the Activation team to gather input for the Pervasive Datacenter Architecture PDx toolkit and library of use cases and validated solutions
• Manage the solutions library ensuring content is up to date and that we have a current roadmap and lifecycle plan for the library
• Work with CTO org to ensure our solutions content accurately represents product capabilities and roadmap, co-develop additional technical content assets
• Expected travel is < 30% and the role has the option to be remote

What you'll need

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Extensive expertise in IT Services, with a profound understanding of data and applications, networking, and cloud architectures
• Exceptional communication skills and a background in technical solutions
• Over 15 years of experience in data center, network, applications, and data technology
• Knowledge of SDN and SD data center infrastructure
• Experience as a practitioner of IT architecture (enterprise architect, infrastructure architecture)
• Proficiency in cloud capabilities, including public, private, and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with network service provider and cloud service provider products and their consumption
• Working knowledge of the multi-tenant data center marketplace and ecosystems

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Moreover, an employee's total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
