Ledgent is partnering with a long standing manufacturing client looking to add a Sr. Internal Auditor to their team. Ideal profile would have public accounting experience within a manufacturing environment with strong working knowledge of SOX.
Direct hire Position. Up to $80,000+BONUS. Hybrid working schedule (3x/week on site, 2x/week remote) MUST LIVE LOCALLY.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans tailored to manufacturing operations, including scoping, planning, and testing activities.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes specific to manufacturing practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of audit work and findings in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Identify control deficiencies and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement remediation plans.
- Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and other regulatory frameworks applicable to manufacturing.
- Support the development of internal audit projects and execute scoping, planning and testing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 1-2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or internally with a manufacturing company
- Understanding of internal audit practices, U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards, SEC regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with all levels of leadership and across all functional areas.
- CPA, CIA, or CISA certification - preferred
