Volt is immediately hiring for SS Eng Operations Tech in Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX.
As an SS Eng Operations Tech, you will:
- Play a key part in assisting our large program team with metrics, onboarding, meeting facilitation, and various support activities.
- Collaborate with program leadership to facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication
- Assist engineering leads in the onboarding and integration of new staff members
- Support program activities and contribute to team success
- Support Satellite daily operations
- Attend meetings and other functions as requested
- Compile and/or assist in preparation of various documents, to include but not limited to presentations, reports, correspondence, and other materials
This is a
Full-time 12-month contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance Required Skills - Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school or Military and/or Intelligence Agency training) and a minimum of 6 years of relative experience organizational groups
- Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
- Experience working on Defense or Intelligence Agency Satellite technologies and/or ground control systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Tools, to include but not limited to: Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and/or Excel
Preferred Skills: - Experience working with senior leadership on large teams
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility Excellent oral and written communication skills, preferably present information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Prior experience training team members
Education: - Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school or Military and/or Intelligence Agency training)
Pay Rate: $53-$58 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
