Purpose of Role

The Supply Chain Analyst is essential to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. This role will drive continuous improvement by conducting in-depth supply chain analyses and collaborating cross-functionally with key departments. Additionally, the Supply Chain Analyst will manage the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, focusing on short- and mid-term planning. This position is pivotal in enhancing our supply chain processes and enabling data-driven decision-making to support overall business goals. It is a role that will develop strong leadership capabilities by working with many departments and all levels of the organization.

Areas of Accountabilities

Manage the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Process

  • Lead the monthly forecasting and capacity analysis process, ensuring accurate and timely data is available.
  • Summarize and communicate results, ensuring information is presented at the appropriate level of detail for each audience.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock, preventing both stockouts and overstock situations by working with the plants and developing plans of action.
  • Provide support to local planners and central planning team for multi-plant planning, particularly in the mid-term and for major projects.
  • Collaborate with the Central Planning Group by delivering insights from the SIOP process to ensure smooth order management.

Execute Supply Chain Studies and Continuous Improvement Analyses
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects that focus on our Supply Chain Processes
  • Update Supply Chain Study visual controls and documentation
  • Conduct and lead analyses for Supply Chain Studies that will be critical in developing the Supply Chain Strategy for the company
  • Execute ad hoc Root Cause Analyses for Supply Chain process gaps

Own the execution and readiness of the Operations Scorecard
  • Update the Operations Scorecard monthly
  • Develop trend charts and analytical tools to provide clear insights into metric trends
  • Support efforts to automate scorecard metrics and visualizations, enhancing efficiency and understanding

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
  • Experience in Operations, Planning or Customer Service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks/projects
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities.
  • Direct user experience with ERP (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency in Power BI is preferred
  • Travel Expectations 10-20%
