RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Kforce client, located in Providence, RI is a multinational Fortune 500 company specializing in aerospace industry that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their company. Compensation and benefits include Health, Vision, and Dental 15 PTO and10 personal days 401(k), parking benefit, tuition reimbursement, company gym on-site. This position is on-site 5 days.As Tax Manager you will:- Oversee and manage all aspects of client's tax compliance and planning activities
- Prepare and filing tax returns
- Conduct tax research
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Develop strategies
- Minimize client's tax liability
- Responsible for training and mentoring staff development
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Accounting
- 7 years of experience in a corporate tax environment
- Public and Private industry experience combo
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Attention to detail
- Communications skills
- Excellent Leadership and management skills
- Continuous learning - stay up to date on latest trends in the tax industry
- Analytical thinking
- Time management skills
- Software knowledge - Excel and other tax and compliance software
- CPA and or MST preferable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
