The Team Lead Financial Analyst will oversee and provide leadership in facilitating complex administrative/business operations for the financial management and reporting components of Sponsored Project Administration. Influence and support University organizational processes and goals in the area of sponsored projects compliance, administration and financial reporting. Independently provide administrative and functional supervision for financial analysts. Lead and implement continuous improvement activities and streamline processes for financial analysis and reporting for sponsored projects. Provide on-boarding and training for central and unit post-award administrators. Serve as liaison to internal and external constituents on complex internal/external policy, procedural and process information pertaining to the area of responsibility. Manage a portfolio of complex sponsored projects in compliance with applicable award and sponsor-specific guidelines, federal regulations, and University policies and procedures while preparing and ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports for sponsored projects.
Bachelor's degree and six years of government, non-profit or higher education experience required. Experience in complex financial reporting, employee supervision, and effective written and oral communication skills required. Demonstrated customer service, analytical and presentation skills, and proficiency with spreadsheet applications required.Experience participating in financial audits, financial management and PeopleSoft highly desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range:$75,000 - $85,000
