Basic Job Functions:

• Reviews and enters freight publications
• Enters and maintains freight rates
• Processes freight bills and resolves any freight discrepancies
• Handles freight disputes with the carriers
• Assists regional centers with transaction analysis and problem resolution
• Enter and maintain freight locations
• Initiate new vendor requests for freight vendors as needed
• Available to work occasional overtime
• Works on special projects as needed

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or 4 years related work experience
• Willingness to learn new software tools
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to efficiently manage workloads and recognize priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to provide high quality of service to internal and external customers
• Ability to demonstrate initiative on projects and assignments
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle
