Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from various construction sites, ensuring the efficient operation of dump trucks, and maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Safely & Responsibly: Operate dump trucks (Tri-Axle and occasionally trailer) safely to transport materials to construction sites, ensuring compliance with all applicable DOT regulations.
• DOT Compliance: Demonstrate a solid understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and ensure full compliance during all operations.
• Load and Secure Materials: Safely load and unload equipment, ensuring proper chaining and binding of transported materials in accordance with DOT standards.
• Safety Checks & Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels (oil, water, fuel), inspecting for damage or leaks, and ensuring the truck is in safe working condition. Ensure safety devices and camera/monitoring systems are not obstructed or hindered from operating properly.
• Report Maintenance Needs: Promptly report any mechanical issues or required repairs to your supervisor, ensuring that vehicles remain in good working order.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all company and safety policies, always prioritizing safety by following safety protocols and reporting unsafe conditions or near-miss incidents.
• Physical Safety: Safely climb on and off heavy mobile equipment and ensure you remain alert and focused when working around construction equipment and moving machinery.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with various job site tasks as needed, contributing additional skills to support project needs and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• License & Driving Experience: A valid Class "A" or "B" CDL with a driving record that complies with company MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) policy. Previous dump truck driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential to work effectively with supervisors and team members on the job site.
• Physical Requirements: This role involves frequent physical activity such as standing, bending, lifting, and climbing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance. The ability to walk on uneven surfaces and work in various weather conditions is necessary.
• Work Environment: Primarily outdoors, exposed to weather conditions, noise, dust, grease, and other common construction site elements. Must be comfortable working around heavy equipment and potentially hazardous materials like diesel, asphalt, and other chemicals.
