Major/Essential Functions

• Embraces the Values-Based Culture of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
• Adheres to institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains accuracy of eBook holdings by routinely checking for broken links and other access issues.
• Maintains accuracy of OCLC holdings by removing holdings of Items no longer in the collection.
• Downloads, edits, and copy catalogs eBook records in the ILS.
• Creates and edits physical item records and processes physical items as needed.
• Records physical item cataloging statistics.
• Works with administration to order supplies for the department as needed.

* Ability to learn and adopt new technology and trends
* Library experience, especially working with electronic resources and/or within a technical services department
* Experience working with Integrated Library Systems (such as Koha), an Electronic Resources Management tool (such as Gold Rush), MarcEdit, and/or OCLC
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
